4-Element Challenge

Earth, Water, Fire and Wind. Four elements that were used for the First challenge in Survivor Philippines Celebrity Showdown. Richard Gutierrez explained to the castaways the rule:

Castaways will run their way up the wall and jump off the “trampoline” ropes until they are able to go down. Then they will find hoopla rings in the muddy water and when they got three rings they can move on across the smoldering coal and try their luck to shoot the hoopla rings to designated poles. First two castaways to complete the challenge will win special scrolls.

Jon Hall was the first to climb and get down the wall followed by Ervic and the rest of the male castaways while Elma Muros was the first one among the girls with Princess as the last one not even attempting to get down from where she climbed. Buhawi Meneses was the first one to get three hoopla rings, he tried his best to shoot the rings 1st and 2nd went in but the last one fell short so he came back in the mud and find another rings. Other castaways like Michelle Madrigal, Akihiro Sato, Jon Hall, and Ervic Vijandre were able to shoot one of the three rings required. After few more attempts Buhawi came back holding just one ring and tried his luck and voila the ring went in and Richard announced Buhawi is the first one to win that challenge. The rockstar then run to the platform and pull the flag to make his first win official.

Other castaways continued with the challenge until Aira tried to shoot her hoopla rings and luckily made three successful shots making her the second winner of that challenge. Host Richard Gutierrez gave the first scroll to Buhawi being the first winner of the challenge and asked him to read the message out loud. The scroll gave Buwi the authority to lead the group until certain time. Aira, the second winner was given a scroll too but Richard instructed her to keep it first and will read the content on the tribal council.

Jon Hall must have felt frustrated with the challenge as he said in his confessional video that he was really excited with that challenge and he felt that the challenge requires physical strength so he was really surprised to see Aira won the challenge with Buhawi. While for Doc Ferdz, he’s happy for Buhawi’s victory and he would not sour-grape or anything that Buhawi is now the leader.

Princess Snell is looking like she’s gonna be out sooner than expected. Seeing her complain like “first time ko lang mapagod sa buong buhay ko” “ako yung tipo ng tao na pag tinulak mo matutumba agad”  etc. makes it clearer to the viewers that the rumor that she backed out is more or less true. We will see more of her “pasabog” tomorrow.

Survivor Philippines Celebrity Showdown airs every weekdays after 24Oras.
