First Tribal Council of Survivor Philippines Celebrity Showdown eliminated NO ONE.
After Princess Snell quit and the fact that there is still one tribe in the game make it a bit predictable that the first tribal council will be a non-elimination one. I was actually hoping that I thought wrong but then again predictability is really running now and Survivor Philippines must do something about that. Plus, I don’t think castaways thought they will be eliminating someone because there were no talk, no solid alliance formed, no single name floated before they stepped into the tribal council or at least that’s what the editing showed the viewers.
Richard Gutierrez mentioned that since Buhawi was the first one who won the first challenge he got the privilege of becoming the mayor or the leader of the tribe. Aira the 2nd winner of that challenge was given a scroll too and when she read it in the tribal council she learned that she will be another leader of the tribe and with that scroll we also found out that the there will be no elimination that night instead the castaways will vote for the third leader of the tribe. Jon Hall got the votes of majority beating out Doc Ferds who is obviously disappointed and Elma Muros who got votes from Aubrey Miles and 2 other castaways. So the leaders now are Buhawi, Aira and Jon.
Two leaders look okay but a third one? Come on! What was that? Will there be three tribes? That’s no good. And when will the castaways be divided into tribes? Survivor Philippines Celebrity Showdown must go back to the original format of Survivor… Divide the castaways into two tribes then let the castaways form their alliances and go on with the reward and immunity challenges. They must stop this crapola thingee of surprises. LET THE GAME BEGIN!
The pacing of the game now is really slow so hopefully next week we see more actions and real game. Good news is that starting Monday, Survivor Philippines Celebrity Showdown will be 45 minutes instead of 30 minutes. Hopefully this will catch up the pacing.
