After many speculations and all the guessing games to who will replace Paolo Bediones as a host of the Philippine franchise of the biggest reality show Survivor, finally, official announcement has been made. Leading matinee idol of the Kapuso GMA-7, Richard Gutierrez will be the new host of the leading prime time reality show Survivor Philippines.

Richard has done couple of documentaries for the GMA News and Public Affairs and in all fairness it turned out good so I believe that’s one factor of coming up with this decision. I also believe they will be doing a celebrity edition for the third season of Survivor Philippines which is a great transition move from original host Paolo Bediones, who is now with TV5 to the newcomer in hosting Richard Gutierrez. One more thing, Season 2 of the reality show was just too amazing to beat in the third season, so a Celebrity edition will be a great breather.:)
I know this news will attract various reactions from the audience, so what do you think about Richard Gutierrez shouting Survivors’ Ready!?
Are you ready? Oh well one thing is for sure, I together with the rest of Survivor fanatics are all excited for the new season of Survivor Philippines.

According to “chisms” haha GMA also considered Ryan Agoncillo but there was a conflict since he’s hosting the Talentadong Pinoy in TV5…:)
