He once proved to be a hero when he chose to vote off Keith Famie instead of his strong rival Tina Wesson for the final Tribal Council of Survivor: The Australian Outback which many believed caused Donaldson’s lost for the title which won by Wesson. Sandra Diaz-Twine seemed to be an easy-target for the first few episodes of Survivor:Pearl Islands since she lacks physical strength. However, she’s clever enough to use this factor for her own advantage and was able to turn the table around from Lillian Morris when she got 6 votes against only 1 for Lillian at the finale of the game making Sandra the Sole Survivor for the 7^th season.
