I know one week has passed but I can’t help it…I am still not over this. Parvati is still Survivor’s Queen. Oh my gosh may be too much of the whining, I mean I have nothing against Sandra but Queen P deserves the title Queen.
The fact that she had won the title of Sole Survivor, made her a target since Day 1 BUT Sandra won too but she was not in the target list. JT and Tom were past winners too but they were not being targeted like Parvati. She almost lost the game but she used her charm and aligned with the person in the Villains tribe that no one barely knew-Russell. Like what she said she made Russell her pet and this pet saved her from losing, so it was Tyson who left instead of her. It was a nerve-breaking episode, imagine IF Russell didn’t give her the hidden immunity then she’s gone long time ago and we would not witness a great season.haha
Not only the Villains who wanted her out, even the Heroes who are on the other side of the island planned to make a move to oust Parvati. Even that far they can sense it was Parvati who’s the threat. But, they didn’t succeed, not even close. When JT gave the hidden immunity what did Russell do? HE SHOWED THE LETTER TO PARVATI and she basically read JT’s plan of getting rid of her. But, the most amazing part was RUSSELL GAVE THIS H.I TO PARVATI when she already have her own. Amazing how Parvati controlled the Evil Russell. Too bad for JT, he lost the game with the help of this immunity idol that once belonged to him.
Parvati made big and bold moves too. During the merge she tried to talk to Amanda but Amanda already has set her mind not to align with her former BFF from Survivor Micronesia anymore but tried to cover this by saying words of concern. Parvati told her she got the idol and from here Amanda got busted. She was so eager and specific that Parvati shall use the idol for herself and with this Parvati smelled that the lying Amanda can no longer be her ally.
What Parvati did was she used both of her hidden idols but not for herself but for Sandra and Jerri to secure their loyalty. Loyalty. It’s one of her greatest traits too, she has been loyal to her alliance since Day 1. She didn’t care if Russell betrayed Danielle, she stayed cool despite the craziness of Russell, she didn’t mind that Russell was hated by everyone. HE SAVED HER ONCE so she stayed loyal and not once she thought of betraying Russell. NOT ONCE.
Despite being loyal to her alliance, she’s aware that everybody still wants her out including Russell so she worked VERY HARD in every challenges. Lo and behold as she didn’t just tried to do good she DID BEST and won challenges after challenges most especially during crucial times. The challenge of balancing the plates was really exciting, Colby was so determined and all but nothing beats Parvati’s concentration just like how she has beaten Rupert twice in a head-to head challenge.
Oh she wore the necklace so many times this season however she fell short on the last Immunity Challenge. Russell won the challenge but she was SO CLOSE, she even touched the necklace in time Russell grabbed it and wore it around his neck. This, I believe caused her the million dollars. IF SHE WON THE IMMUNITY she wouldn’t choose Sandra to join her in the Final 3 because she knows Sandra has the greatest chance with the jury. She tried to bring this up with Russell but Russell’s ego was so high that it blinded him of the real situation. If Sandra is not in the Final 3, I believe it’s Parvati 100%. Oh well, the votes has been casted and read -it is Sandra who is the first two-time winner of Survivor.
But this doesn’t make Parvati Shallow less of a winner. She’s holding the record for most number of days spent on Survivor and she’s number 2 Survivor contestant who won the most number of Immunity Challenges (2nd to Colby, surprisingly.) She’s the Queen of Survivor no matter what. I hope to see her play the game once more but she said this is the end for her Survivor career. Sad but who knows?
Well, that’s it for Survivor: Heroes vs Villains one of the most spectacular and awesome season of Survivor.
